I trained at JIPMER - one of the best public clinical institutions in the country. I spent the next several years on the floor: wards, ICUs, OPDs, casualty. The single most consistent observation across all of them was this: the best clinicians I know spend more time typing than talking. The forms expanded; the conversations contracted.

Axone is the answer I wish someone had handed me on my first call duty. The bet behind it is not subtle: AI in healthcare is not a productivity feature. It is the operating layer of the next hospital. Documentation is the foothold; the eventual surface is every clinical workflow that a hospital runs on. We are starting with the highest-volume, highest-pain artifact - the clinical record - because once you fix the record, every downstream system upgrades for free.

We are building Axone for the wards I worked in, and the wards I send my own family to. Bengaluru first, because the talent density is highest. India next, because the problem is sharpest here. Southeast Asia and the Middle East after that, because the economics rhyme and the regulatory contours overlap with ours. We have made a deliberate choice to under-promise the geography and over-deliver the depth in a single market first.

The platform you see today is built by a small senior team, fully funded by clinical revenue, with no marketing-led narrative. We do not have a press release headline yet. We have working software in working hospitals, and we have time-saved evidence at the bedside. The rest is a function of execution, not announcement.
